In 2013, Dominik Jablecki and his co-founder were lifelong sailors running their own sailing club. Like so many people who run clubs, they were spending hours every week on tasks that should have taken minutes – chasing unpaid fees, printing registration forms, tracking athlete evaluations by hand, and emailing parents one by one.
So they built Checklick to solve their own problem: a simple web platform that handled registrations, payments, communication, and evaluations from any device, anywhere. What worked for their own club quickly spread to others.
Word travelled through sailing first, then into other sports entirely. Today, Checklick supports clubs across North America and Europe – and we are still here, still listening, still building the platform we wish had existed when we first sat down with that spreadsheet.
